I must be missing something basic despite having read the 36 page manual all about projects, etc.Under "Sounds" on the left hand column, there are 4 windows which open:1st Window - Shows Sound Type (Standard Diesel, Electric, etc.) - Shows Sound Slot 1 - 24 + Random Sounds, Brake Sound and Gear Shift Sound.2nd Window - Sound Library (Loksound Template Pack 1.3) which I downloaded from ESU site. Cmarchanyou can use horn or whistle recordings to create your own samples, but that's another topic (I'll explain further if someone is interested). To write a sound project to the decoder you need to download the sounds for the V200 from the ESU web site on to your computer, or record the sounds yourself and create your own sound project file. If you were creating projects to share with others or to sell on, then there might be an issue.but first they would have to prove where you got the sounds from, and that can be very difficult without sophisticated sound analysis software.
